A week to celebrate!

Happy Canada Day. As many of you know, we just had a server transfer here at Rewindd. We now have a VPS again. We have finished transferring all shared and reseller clients but are still working on master reseller clients. In celebration of our new VPS, Canada day, and US. Independence day, we are offering our Papa master reseller package at only $38 annually or $4 monthly. This package includes Unmetered disk space and bandwidth, unlimited features and a free domain with a yearly payment method. We are also giving away our Alpha package for free to the first 5 signups and our kilo reseller package at only $18 a year. These promotions will run from July 1st to July 8th, all prices will be the same for renewal so long as you are hosted with us.

Updates, Updates, And Were Good!!

The past week has been very busy as we have worked to restore Rewindd and it's hostees. I am happy to say we have had many people returned but still some are missing. As many know, we have been housed on a master reseller temporarily due to the loss of Celeron. As of a few hours ago we purchased a new VPS and will be moving in within the next few days. All clients will be emailed with further information on the transfer.

I want to take this time to mention two key people that have helped us through this hard week of getting everything back together and who have volunteered to continue to help us in the future. The first is Ryan, the former owner of Rewindd who made all this possible and who has been able to answer just about every question I have had and Ryan will continue to serve on the Rewindd team as a general support staff member. The second person is Adam. Now Adam has been a good friend of mine for some time now and when he herd of my idea to take over Rewindd he was thrilled. Quick to volunteer his services, Adam has done many things around the site including setting up our forums. Adam has been a great help to me in getting Rewindd back off the ground and will continue to assist in the future as Rewindd's new Assistant Manager.

Clients and Visitors --

Over the past week and a half, Rewindd Web Hosting has experienced a severe outage of services. IP's were switched around, accounts were deleted (including rewindd.net's), and our email support was crippled due to the outage of services. There was a mass scare in the community, and that fear birthed many rumors about what happened. The purpose of this message is to put those rumors to rest.

The manager of Rewindd's domain (the keeper of everybody's DNS records) was absent the week that our provider switched our IP's. This resulted in all of our hosting accounts pointing to the wrong server. When Rewindd's manager returned, all of our shared and reseller accounts were pointing to the wrong server and all services were denied to everybody.

We would like to apologize for every inconvience our clients experienced for the past week. Domain ownership has now shifted to a new manager, and DNS record keeping is part of Rewindd's new manager's duties.

Rewindd's Twitter will be remade, and we'll be returning to our usual selves very soon. Questions can be answered by contacting us. Our support staff is here and ready to return questions. Thank you for understanding.
